This pandan roll cake is indeed super economical, however, it looks very luxurious and tastes very good. The texture is super soft, soft even though it only uses makeshift ingredients. And here's a recipe for how to make pandan srikaya sponge which is simple, soft, and delicious.


Material :

- 350 ml of egg white.

- 225 gr sugar.

- 75 ml of fragrant pandan water 1 tablespoon of cake emulsifier.

- 125 gr of flour.

- 20 gr of powdered flour.

- salt to taste.

- 50 ml thick coconut milk.

- 2 tbsp pandan paste.



Srikaya Pandan:

- 200 ml thick coconut milk 100 ml fragrant pandan water.

- 350 gr sugar.

- 2 tbsp cornstarch.

- 8 egg yolks.

- 2 egg whites.

- salt to taste.

- 2 pieces of pandan leaves.

- 1 tbsp pandan paste.



How to make :

1. Beat egg whites, sugar, fragrant pandan water, cake emulsifier until thick and fluffy. Add flour, milk, salt, coconut milk and pandan paste, mix well.

2. Pour the mixture into 2 tins 26 x 26 x 4 cm which have been greased with margarine and lined with parchment paper. Steam for 15 minutes, remove, remove from tin and cool.

3. Pandan srikaya: mix coconut milk, pandan water, sugar, cornstarch, eggs, salt, pandan leaves and pandan paste, mix well. Steam for 30 minutes, remove. Beat the srikaya at medium speed until smooth.

4. Brush the cake with pandan srikaya, roll it tightly and serve,
